Summary:
We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who will play a pivotal role in our sales team's success. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to drive revenue growth, exceed sales targets, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This position requires a technical understanding of HVAC products and systems, effectively managing your time, and excellent communication skills.
Essential Functions:
Generate selections and customer quotes for all the products that we represent, including but not limited to RGDs, VAVs, Fans, and Mechanical Equipment Prepare detailed submittals Download drawings, specifications, schedules, and details Perform accurate take-offs electronically using Planswift Process stock and factory orders for customers Answer phone calls and email requests from clients relating to quotations, order processing, order tracking, freight claims, product availability, field service, and warranties Follow established sales processes and procedures at Buckley Maintain knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and product lines Maintain a working understanding of all the products on our line card by consistently participating in factory and Buckley technical training offerings Fulfill customer product and service needs by utilizing product knowledge and soliciting help from other team members and other internal resources -This job description isnt meant to cover every single responsibility of the role. The position may also take on other tasks and follow additional instructions as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Full time Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, in the Milford, CT. office
Required Education and Experience:
A degree in engineering is preferred but not required. Five or more years of relevant experience may suffice in lieu of a degree.
