Elan Technology is the largest U.S. independent company in its field producing components for hermetic seals and spacers manufactured using electronic glasses and ceramics. 2015 registered company. Our proprietary material formulations have been used in applications ranging from simple consumer lighting products to deep space exploration. The successful candidate will work directly with customers to determine appropriate materials and designs for various hermetic connector applications. Strong problem solving skills are required in order to assist customers with technical issues that arise. Additionally, interaction with manufacturing, engineering and accounting will be required in order to ensure the satisfaction of customers. A large number of tasks must be managed simultaneously on a daily basis. Therefore, time management and organization are essential to being successful in this position.Job Opening:
Sales Engineer Primary Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Serve as the primary technical contact for customers. Provide quotations. Perform manufacturing feasibility evaluations Assist manufacturing in troubleshooting Desired Skills Experience with Lean manufacturing Project Management Experience working directly with customers Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Ceramic, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or related (entry-level graduates considered). Excellent oral and written communication Proficient with MS Office Problem Solving Ability to work alone and as part of teams Highly organized Will be required to pass a background check and drug screeningJob Type:
