Job Description

Pamarco the leading global manufacturer of anilox rolls for the flexographic printing and coating industry is searching for a printing supplies sales professional with a strong track record of success in the packaging industry with strong Flexographic technical knowledge. The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for implementing and directing sales programs, meeting sales objectives as part of the overall growth strategy of Pamarco Inc. The individual will also provide consultative services of a technical nature to ensure the products fit the application and are properly used for maximum value to the customer. Technical Sales Engineer will call on existing and potential clients on a territory basis and can expect overnight travel to exceed 50%.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute comprehensive sales plans and programs to take advantage of Pamarco's value added technical strengths to support its' sales and revenues objectives.

Develop and maintain relationships at senior executive level with customers and prospects bringing the sale to close.

Build Pamarco's market visibility and reputation through trade organization participation and co suppliers.

Identify and close new accounts while being responsible to current clients, building a long term and stable client base.

Manage Northeast territory and time effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
Self-motivated take charge attitude.

Five to ten years' experience in the sale and technical support of consumables to the Flexographic packaging industry.

Strong technical understanding of the Flexographic printing process and a willingness to personally get involved with technical issues.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Computer skills and sales reporting through CRM.The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record in Flexo consumable sales, has a reputation for service, follow-up and provides solutions to customer's technical issues.

Closing skills and ability to open and close new business opportunities.

Graphic arts or pre-press background highly beneficial.
