9/80 Schedule (80 hours over 9 days, every other Friday off) Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting advanced military communication products throughout their lifecycle. This role focuses on product support engineering , where you will investigate and resolve complex technical issues across analog, digital, and RF systems . You will work in a lab environment adjacent to manufacturing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to diagnose problems at the component level, develop solutions through testing and simulation, and implement corrective actions. This role provides an excellent opportunity to expand your technical expertise while contributing to mission-critical defense systems. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot hardware issues down to the component level in analog, digital, and RF circuits Conduct root cause analysis , failure investigations, and corrective action implementation Design and execute engineering experiments ; analyze results to drive solutions Utilize simulation tools for circuit design and performance analysis Collaborate with manufacturing, design engineering, and quality teams to resolve production and field issues Support new product introductions (NPI) , including prototype troubleshooting and production readiness Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and junior engineers Lead small technical teams, prioritizing tasks to meet production and quality goals Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders Operate and interpret results from lab equipment such as: Oscilloscopes Digital Multimeters (DMM) Spectrum and Network Analyzers Logic Analyzers Signal Generators Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering in lieu of a degree Required Skills & Competencies Strong experience in analog, digital, and/or RF circuit analysis and troubleshooting Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment Experience in engineering test design and data-driven decision making Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Leadership experience in guiding small technical teams Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Security Clearance Requirement Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, defense, or military communication systems Familiarity with manufacturing support and production environments Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, or similar) Hands-on lab experience with advanced test equipment
