Job DescriptionDoka USA is seeking a motivated and driven Sales Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in the construction and formwork industry, offering exposure to sales strategy, customer engagement, and project support.
The Sales Intern will work closely with our Sales and Engineering teams to support ongoing projects, assist with customer interactions, and gain a comprehensive understanding of Doka's products and solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Sales team in day-to-day operations, including coordinating customer outreach, scheduling meetings, and assisting with follow-ups to ensure a seamless client experienceAssist in the preparation of proposals, bids, quotations, and sales presentations by gathering project information, compiling data, and formatting deliverablesConduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential opportunities, industry trends, and target customers within assigned regionsParticipate in client meetings, job site visits, and internal planning sessions to gain exposure to the full sales cycle and project lifecycleCollaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Logistics teams to understand project requirements and support solution development for customersMaintain and update CRM systems (e.g., tracking leads, opportunities, and customer interactions) to ensure accurate and up-to-date sales dataAssist in pipeline tracking and reporting, helping the team monitor sales performance and key metricsSupport active projects by helping coordinate documentation, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely communication between internal teams and clientsContribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives by providing insights and supporting execution effortsProvide general administrative and operational support to the Sales team, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencyQualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related fieldStrong interest in sales, construction, or engineering-related industriesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Ability to work both independently and in a team environmentWillingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environmentAdditional InformationDoka offers terrific career opportunities, competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account, company paid life insurance, supplemental voluntary term life insurance, 401k retirement plan (Roth and Non-Roth), short-term disability, AFLAC policies, paid time off (sick/personal, vacation, floating holiday and company paid holidays) and an exciting opportunity to join as a member of Doka's team.
