As a member of our team, you can look forward to a challenging career, an opportunity for unlimited career growth, and a great work/life balance!
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for promoting Fidelity Powers' value proposition to new and existing commercial and industrial customers by providing business and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, customer relations, and closing skills to build and manage long-term customer relationships/partnerships. Successful sales experience in related industries, such as commercial electrical contracting or electrical power generation, is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own and aggressively grow the Chesapeake/ Tidewater territory by owning the full sales cycle: prospecting high-potential opportunities from existing installed base and new equipment sales, relentlessly following up, and closing multi-year, comprehensive service agreements to drive recurring revenue growth. Convert daily service opportunities into Fidelity's superior, long-term solutions by articulating clear value ("Why Fidelity? Why a Comprehensive Solution?"), challenging basic one-year vendor agreements, and transitioning customers to broader, multi-year maintenance contracts that better support mission-critical operations. Build and maintain strong customer relationships across all levels (field personnel to leadership) through professional site visits, equipment evaluations, tailored presentations (in-person/virtual), and credible positioning in commercial/industrial environments. Manage the complete sales process including timely quoting, developing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs), pipeline tracking in CRM, performance reporting against revenue/margin targets, and ensuring seamless internal coordination with service, parts, and administration teams. Consistently meet or exceed annual sales targets by expanding existing accounts, increasing contract scope, securing new agreements as equipment is installed, and monitoring market/competitor activity to identify additional service opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven sales success in B2B service contracts, maintenance agreements, or recurring revenue models, with a demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding targets and owning territory results. Industry experience in generator service, industrial power systems, mechanical equipment, or related technical fields to effectively evaluate equipment and build credibility with mission-critical customers. Experience selling into commercial, industrial, or mission-critical environments, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders from field technicians to executive leadership. Bachelor's degree in business, Industrial Technology, Engineering, or a related field to support technical discussions and professional presence. Strong self-motivation, organizational skills, and comfort with uncapped commission structures, where earnings are directly tied to consistent execution, urgency, and territory ownership.
