What You Will Be Doing:
As the
COMNAVAIRLANT
Fleet Readiness Representative you will impact everything from readiness to engineering for F-35 supply and technical support. This position is located in Virginia Beach, VA. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Aviation Maintenance Supply Support Overall, this role is the linchpin that ensures aircraft are supplied, repaired, and returned to service efficiently—directly enabling mission success and reinforcing the Navy's operational excellence.
Primary Mission Readiness Role:
Accurately verify and reconcile
NMCM/NMCS
data on the Aviation Maintenance Supply Readiness Report (AMSRR) against the Lockheed Martin MICAP report, driving immediate corrective actions that keep aircraft mission capable and support
NAE MCAR/FMCAR
objectives.
Expedite Critical Supply:
Work directly with the Lightning Sustainment Center (LSC) to fast track Priority 1 and Priority 2 MEFL impacting parts, minimizing Non Mission Capable Supply (NMCS) time for the squadron.
Supply Visibility & Forecasting:
Provide real time insight into afloat spares package depth, stock replenishment status, and inventory effectiveness; assist with
ASP/AVCAL
reviews and budget/contracting recommendations.
Customer Collaboration & Communication:
Serve as the single point of contact for government maintenance and supply personnel, delivering timely status updates, part number/NSN clarifications, and after hours support.
MICAP & MEFL
Alignment:
Cross verify Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) data with MEFL requirements, ensuring accurate reporting and rapid resolution of part shortages.
Root Cause Analysis & Process Improvement:
Identify recurring supply chain issues, recommend procedural changes, and support on site action request tracking with LSC, Navy Class Desk, and CNAL teams.
Logistics & Cargo Management:
Clear frustrated cargo, process property promptly, and maintain compliance to avoid MICAP backlogs and work stoppages.
Transfer Location & FAD Coordination:
Validate transfer locations for deployed forces and manage Force Activity Designator (FAD) assignments tied to specific aircraft tail numbers.
Metrics & Reporting Support:
Compile, analyze, and disseminate supply status metrics; contribute to daily Navy HQ reports and Navy Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) submissions.
Leadership & Team Integration:
Participate in local supply/maintenance meetings, support cross functional teams, and maintain open oral/written communication channels with all stakeholder levels.
Readiness & Flexibility:
Remain prepared for shift work, weekend coverage, and long term deployments to hazardous locations; adhere to DoD vaccination and security clearance requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position: Minimum 10 years of aircraft supply, operations and/or maintenance experience. Demonstrated experience working and interacting with senior management within unit supply, operations and maintenance communities. Practical experience with major command support of supply, operations and maintenance. Experience leading a readiness planning and support. Knowledge of pilot or maintainer systems & processes, and/or logistics support.
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Candidate should possess a broad military aircraft support background and advanced interpersonal and communication skills to be effective in a high tempo operational environment. Ability to effectively communicate with supporting companies (Pratt & Whitney, NGC, etc.) and local base authorities is critical for success. Prior military/civilian equivalent operational maintenance & logistics experience desirable; specifically, organizational and intermediate supply and/or maintenance experience. Should be considered an expert authority in the supply, maintenance, operations, and support disciplines. Familiarity with the F-35 logistics, autonomic logistics information system (ALIS), technical publications approach and supportable low observable support concept beneficial.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
