As an Area Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for generating new business, building referral relationships, meeting with prospective clients, and guiding homeowners through the sales process from initial consultation to signed contract. You'll have a direct impact on company growth while helping clients make confident decisions about one of the most valuable investments in their home. Instead of sitting behind a desk all day, you'll spend your time: Meeting with homeowners Conducting on-site consultations Building relationships with referral partners Networking within the community Following up with leads Developing new business opportunities Managing prospects through our CRM system Collaborating with project managers and company leadership Helping clients design outdoor living spaces that fit their needs and budget You'll work directly with company leadership, see the results of your efforts firsthand, and gain experience that would typically take years to accumulate in a larger corporate environment. What Success Looks Like You'll become one of the faces of the DeckTech brand in the communities we serve. You'll build trust with homeowners and guide them through a professional, transparent sales process. You'll consistently generate qualified opportunities through networking, referrals, and community engagement. You'll deliver exceptional customer experiences from the first conversation through project handoff. You'll develop lasting relationships with homeowners, real estate professionals, and community partners. Most importantly, you'll help us continue building a company known for excellence. Key Responsibilities Meet with prospective clients to understand project goals and needs Conduct on-site consultations and property assessments Present DeckTech's services and value proposition Prepare and deliver project proposals Follow up with leads and maintain consistent communication Manage opportunities within the company's CRM system Develop relationships with referral partners and strategic contacts Attend networking events, trade shows, and community functions Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting Consistently work toward monthly and annual sales goals Who Thrives Here We're looking for someone who: Loves connecting with people Communicates professionally and confidently Is highly self-motivated Enjoys working independently while remaining accountable Is organized and detail-oriented Has strong follow-through and time management skills Is comfortable discussing project budgets and investments Enjoys networking and building relationships Takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience Has an ownership mentality Sales experience is helpful, but attitude, coachability, and work ethic matter even more.
