As a customer service representative, you will use your strategic selling skills, in-depth knowledge of company services, and compassion for others to build relationships with our customers. We're looking for experienced representatives responsible for growing sales by engaging customers to accurately estimate the requirements for the move, closing the sale and following up with any customer issues before, during and after the move. Schedule:

_This is a full-time position, Monday

• Friday 8:00 a.m.

Acts as the first point of contact for new and existing customers to establish a rapport and build confidence in our services Asks open-ended questions to determine customer requirements and expectations Inputs information into software to estimate cost for customers, as well as scheduling needs for drivers and movers Makes recommendations according to customer's needs on moving services, boxes, supplies and equipment and other services Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements when scheduling moving services and staff Prepares all move-related paperwork and documents on a daily basis Obtains customer feedback through regular follow-up calls, both during and after moves to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints Calmly and professionally handles displeased customers and provides timely feedback to management regarding customer concerns May assist management with scheduling and tracking of movers and drivers in accordance with move requirements Ensures display area is maintained in a clean and professional manner; i.e. brochure stocks and box displays No cold calling! All other duties as assigned Sales and front-facing customer service experience helpful for this role Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; associate's degree in related field preferred A minimum of six months to one year of customer service AND sales experience is required; outside or inbound sales in moving industry experience is preferred Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful) Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques Confidence to initiate customer contact, and comfortable asking for the sale Effective listening and communication skills Good organizational and time management skills Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively Strong team player who works productively with a wide range of people and personalities Bilingual is a plus Sales and front-facing customer service experience helpful for this role This job posting is for a position at the individually owned and operated
