Sales and Accounting Support Specialist

Overview:

Performs a diverse range of sales-related accounting tasks, including invoicing, payment management and customer service support. This role also encompasses accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking activities and general office support functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Billing for customers and generate invoices.
• Freight billing and payment management.
• Accepts customer orders via phone in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Inputs sales orders from customers to generate bill of ladings
• Schedules truck deliveries.
• Generates billing reports.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Supports accounting team by cross-training in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable which duties include: o Post customer payments by recording various payment method transactions. o Processes accounts payables transactions. o Research account discrepancies as needed. o Reconciles bank accounts. o Assists with providing data and information for annual budget preparation and annual audits. This position also provides general office support.
