We are currently seeking an Aggregate Sales Representative to join our team. Job Summary The Aggregate Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and building strong customer relationships for construction aggregates such as sand, gravel, crushed stone, and related materials. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing accounts, and coordinating with operations to meet customer demand efficiently. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, construction firms, municipalities, and other aggregate buyers Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory Generate and manage sales leads, quotes, and contracts Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets Provide customers with product information, pricing, and availability Coordinate with dispatch, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer needs Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and account updates Resolve customer issues related to product quality, delivery, and service Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions as needed Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred 2-5 years of sales experience (construction materials, aggregates, or heavy industry preferred) Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Skills & Competencies Strong negotiation and closing skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of aggregate products and construction industry (preferred) Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Physical & Work Requirements Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory Willingness to visit job sites, quarries, and customer locations Ability to work in outdoor environments as needed Preferred Qualifications Existing network in construction or civil contracting industry Experience with pricing strategies and contract negotiation Understanding of logistics and supply chain for bulk materials Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission/bonus structure Vehicle allowance or company vehicle Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401k with 4% Company Match
