Job Description:
Laboratory Sales Representative Chronetyx Laboratories is a molecular testing laboratory dedicated to providing timely, accurate, and actionable molecular diagnostic results. Our advanced testing services help clinicians deliver the best possible care and outcomes for their patients. We are currently seeking a Laboratory Sales Representative to drive sales of our high-complexity molecular testing services. This role combines account management with business development, calling on multiple healthcare sectors including long-term care facilities and physician clinics. This position offers strong growth potential, effective training, and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies for laboratory services, with a focus on molecular pathogen identification and reflex antibiotic resistance gene testing. Identify new business opportunities and maximize sales potential within assigned territories. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in long-term care facilities, physician offices and contract research organizations. Conduct presentations and demonstrations to educate prospective clients on Chronetyx's laboratory services and diagnostic solutions. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and satisfaction. Prepare regular sales reports, target list and forecasts for management review. Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related science/medical field preferred; equivalent work experience considered. 2+ years of proven sales experience in long-term care, physician offices, or related healthcare sectors strongly preferred. Pharmaceutical sales experience is highly desirable. Experience in laboratory services sales is a plus. Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicare, and commercial payer reimbursement mechanisms. Strong entrepreneurial drive with a proven ability to develop new business. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a plus. Willingness to travel within the assigned region. Valid driver's license required. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
