Our client, Cendek Railings Ltd., is seeking a driven and self-motivated Business Development Representative to expand and manage their US market, reporting directly to the Sales Director. This is a dynamic, field-based role responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable customer relationships, actively prospecting for new accounts, and maximizing sales potential with existing clients. As a primary external representative of the organization, you will ensure sustainable market growth, provide expert product education to accounts, and collaborate closely with leadership and the service team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and highly comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
Promote the Century product line directly to dealers, contractors, and distributors while identifying and qualifying short- and long-term leads to advance them through the sales process. Establish and maintain profitable relationships with current and prospective accounts to ensure the attainment of company business goals. Act as a key educator by conducting on-site presentations, seminars, and product knowledge (PK) sessions to promote product benefits. Work directly with contractors and installers to create pull-through demand across the dealer network, and collaborate with distributors to establish new accounts. Perform market assessments, competitor analyses, and pricing strategies to develop an effective, prioritized annual sales and marketing plan. Communicate regularly with the head office regarding field product issues and work closely with the service team to investigate and resolve customer complaints. Maintain a disciplined call schedule, manage marketing data using sales management tools, prepare detailed expense/activity reports, and participate in weekly Teams calls with the Sales Director. Represent the company image and drive brand awareness at regional home shows and special events.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development, account management, or field sales. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with an ability to convey product expertise seamlessly. Proficiency with sales management systems, databases, computerized call calendars, and digital communication tools. Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform market environment assessment. Self-starter who works exceptionally well independently while contributing to a revenue-driven team. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license and a valid passport. Represents Cendek Railings Ltd. positively through professional communication, conduct, and demeanor. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Territory & Working Conditions:
Primary coverage area is within a 500-mile radius of the Springdale, Arkansas warehouse, along with the management of 3 existing turned-over accounts located in the Southeast USA. Frequent air travel and several hours per day spent operating a motor vehicle are required. Fast-paced, variable work environment conducted both indoors and outdoors with exposure to the conditions of various customer facilities. Subject to shifting schedules and short-notice activity.
Expenses & Equipment:
A cell phone, laptop, and necessary office equipment will be supplied by Cendek Railings Ltd. Approved business expenses,including travel, airfare, vehicle use, fuel, meals, entertainment, and supplies, are fully reimbursed within 30 days of approval, subject to periodic review.
