Job Description

Admissions Coordinator (High-Performance Closer) - Artemis Adolescent Healing Center The Admissions Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for families seeking help for their adolescent and is responsible for converting inbound and outbound inquiries into program admissions. This role requires a highly motivated, results-driven professional who can build trust quickly, overcome objections, and guide parents/guardians toward making timely, life-changing treatment decisions for their teen. This is a fast-paced, phone-heavy role ideal for a confident communicator who thrives in a goal-oriented environment and is passionate about helping families in crisis take action. Key Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with urgency, professionalism, and confidence. Lead conversations with parents/guardians and adolescents to uncover needs, build trust, and drive commitment to treatment. Confidently guide families through the decision-making process and close admissions. Verify insurance benefits and clearly communicate financial options while reinforcing the value of treatment. Use strong judgment to assess clinical appropriateness, readiness, and likelihood of follow-through. Overcome objections related to cost, timing, resistance from the teen, or family hesitation. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all calls, leads, and referral sources. Execute consistent follow-up strategies to convert warm leads into admissions. Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure smooth, timely intakes. Build and maintain referral relationships that generate consistent, high-quality leads. Participate in outreach and marketing efforts (schools, therapists, community partners, events). Respond effectively in crisis situations, maintaining control and guiding families toward immediate solutions. Stay informed on program offerings, capacity, and competitive positioning. Meet and exceed individual and team performance metrics (call volume, conversion rates, admissions). What We're Looking For A strong phone presence with the ability to control conversations and confidently ask for commitment. Proven ability to close deals, handle objections, and drive urgency. Comfortable working with families in high-emotion situations while maintaining focus on outcomes. Ability to balance empathy with results-driven communication. Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline—no lead left behind. Competitive, self-motivated, and energized by hitting and exceeding goals. Preferred Experience 1+ year in admissions, sales, call center, or high-volume phone closing role (behavioral health preferred). Experience in substance abuse or mental health treatment (especially adolescents) is a strong plus. Background in working with parents/guardians or family systems preferred. Bilingual (English-Spanish) a plus.
