Carson/Torrance CA Schedule:

4:00 AM to 12:00

PM Pay Rate:

$22.00 per hour

Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused DSD Sales Driver to operate a company sprinter van delivering tortillas and related products to grocery stores and local businesses throughout San Diego and the surrounding areas. This role combines route delivery with Direct Store Delivery sales responsibilities. Drivers are responsible for building relationships, supporting product sales, and maintaining accurate delivery and sales records. This is a stable route-based position with consistent early morning hours and potential for long-term placement. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a company sprinter van in compliance with California driving regulations Deliver and merchandise products to grocery stores and local customers on an assigned route Perform Direct Store Delivery sales including promoting products and supporting reorders Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners and managers Load and unload product at warehouse and customer locations Use handheld devices to complete invoices, credits, and sales documentation Maintain accurate records for deliveries, sales, mileage, and work hours Communicate with dispatch and sales leadership regarding route needs and opportunities Ensure proper product rotation and merchandising at store locations Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any issues immediately Qualifications Valid California Driver's License Class C Clean driving record Prior DSD, route sales, or customer-facing delivery experience preferred Comfortable with sales conversations and customer interaction Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds safely Strong attendance and reliability required Ability to pass background and drug screening Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus Preferred Experience Direct Store Delivery sales experience Route-based sales or delivery driving experience Merchandising experience in grocery or retail environments Sprinter van or similar vehicle experience
