We design and manufacture products that integrate into commercial and residential environments, including power distribution systems, under-cabinet lighting, and multi-device power solutions for furniture, cabinetry, and workspace applications. Our products are built for specifiers, manufacturers, and dealers who need reliable, well-designed power and lighting integrated into their work. About the Role We are looking for a driven and relationship-oriented Business Development Representative to grow MOD's presence in the cabinetry and commercial channels. This is a field-forward role built for someone who thrives on in-person selling, building long-term relationships, and developing a pipeline from the ground up. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging local and regional cabinet shops, manufacturers, and dealers, establishing MOD as a trusted product partner, and expanding that reach across California, the West Coast, and beyond. This role is ideal for someone who understands the cabinetry and woodworking industry, enjoys being in front of customers, and wants to build something with real earning potential as their pipeline grows. Responsibilities Identify, contact, and visit local and regional cabinetry businesses, manufacturers, and dealers to introduce MOD products and establish ongoing relationships Build and maintain a regular cadence of in-person visits, follow-up calls, and product drop-offs to develop trusted partnerships Represent MOD at industry trade shows and cabinetry and woodworking events, including upcoming national shows Develop a self-managed pipeline of prospects and active accounts, tracking activity and progress consistently Collaborate with internal sales and product teams to ensure customers receive accurate product information and timely support Expand territory reach from local accounts to statewide, regional, and national opportunities over time Qualifications 1 to 5 years of outside sales, business development, or territory sales experience Familiarity with the cabinetry, woodworking, kitchen and bath, or building products industry strongly preferred Existing relationships within the cabinetry or dealer channel a significant plus Self-directed and comfortable managing your own schedule and territory Strong interpersonal skills with a consultative, relationship-first approach to selling Willingness to travel locally for customer visits and nationally for trade shows and industry events Valid driver's license required Compensation Base salary plus commission. Compensation details discussed during the interview process.
