$23 - $27/hour Overview A growing company in the entertainment and retail industry is seeking a Promotion Planner to support new business development initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating promotional campaigns, managing merchandise planning, and supporting partnerships and licensing-related projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Promotion & Project Coordination Support the execution of multiple promotional and new business initiatives Track timelines, deliverables, and project progress Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution Identify and escalate risks or delays when necessary Merchandise Planning & Purchasing Source and select promotional products aligned with campaign themes and trends Evaluate product quality, pricing, and vendor reliability Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors Cross-functional Communication Act as a liaison between departments such as marketing, operations, and finance Communicate promotion details, timelines, and updates clearly Ensure alignment across all teams involved in campaigns Vendor & Budget Management Maintain relationships with vendors and identify new supplier opportunities Manage purchase orders, budgets, and invoices Track sales performance and prepare reports Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze sales performance of promotional items Provide insights to improve future purchasing and promotional strategies Prepare reports for internal stakeholders Administrative Support Maintain organized records and documentation Assist with meeting coordination and follow-ups Support team operations and special projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, procurement, or related field Strong negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines Interest in entertainment, pop culture, anime, or gaming is a plus Work Environment Office-based role in Cerritos, CA Occasional travel for vendor visits or events Flexible schedule may be required depending on business needs
