On-site / Local Field Visits About Us AVA Glass Hardware is a growing wholesale supplier specializing in frameless shower door systems, glass hardware, and modular shower solutions. We work primarily with glass shops, contractors, installers, kitchen & bath dealers, and distributors throughout Southern California. We're looking for a motivated, bilingual Business Development Representative to help expand our customer base and build long-term relationships with industry professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, developing new business, and growing with a fast-growing company. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Visit glass shops, contractors, kitchen & bath showrooms, and potential customers throughout Southern California. Introduce our products and develop new B2B accounts. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships. Follow up on leads and existing customers. Prepare quotations and recommend products based on customer needs. Occasionally visit project sites when needed (not a daily responsibility). Customer Service & Office Support Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and WhatsApp. Coordinate customer orders with the warehouse team. Assist with order processing, quotations, and sales documentation. Gather customer feedback and market information to support future product development. Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish (Required) Mandarin Chinese is a plus, but not required. Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation. Comfortable visiting customers and conducting outside sales. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, organized, and willing to learn. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented. Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or customer service. Experience in the building materials, construction, glass, hardware, or home improvement industry is a plus. Familiarity with contractors and the Southern California construction market is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits Base Pay:
$20-25/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Commission:
5% commission on sales revenue generated from new customer accounts personally developed by the employee. Commission applies only to orders placed within the first 12 months following the customer's initial purchase. Commission is earned after the customer has paid the invoice in full Employees must be actively employed by AVA Glass Hardware at the time commission is paid.
