Sales Representative

CA Rafting Consultant:

We are seeking folks interested in joining a professional and fun-loving community of people who work hard, play hard, and do it All-Outdoors. This position is seasonal, but can be full-time or part-time, depending on your preference. Employees will work in our main sales office in Lotus, CA. • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with a diverse group of people; ability to build genuine, authentic connections with guests and co-workers.
• Work quickly and efficiently on computers and with various software programs. Basic knowledge of Google Docs and MS Office is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking sales environment.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during the season, May-August.
• Appreciation of California rivers / A deep love of the outdoors and nature!
• Ability to raft some of the rivers AO runs as part of training (and as a fun perk!) Responsibilities
• Actively participate on the AO Sales Team; Assist team leaders and teammates in building a successful sales team in a positive and productive work environment.
• Communicate with guests via phone, LiveChat, or email professionally, in order to convert a lead to a sale.
• Establish and grow a thorough understanding of AO products and services; be able to provide quality recommendations for the best possible guest experience.
• Learn and stay current on AO policies and best practices.
• Accurately and appropriately use reservation software to track leads and manage reservation activity.
• Learn and develop methods to respond to guest concerns or issues, according to AO policy and best practices.

• For the 2026 season, we currently have both full-time and part-time seasonal work opportunities available.
• Scheduled hours will include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $24/hr based on a combination of job proficiency and relevant skills and/or experience. Pay increases are considered on a monthly basis during the first year, then annually thereafter.
