With over 400 SKUs sourced from across Asia, we proudly serve retailers nationwide and continue to expand across mainstream and specialty markets. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and proactive Marketing and Business Development Associate to support our sales growth and brand development initiatives. This entry-level role supports lead follow-up, trade show participation, and marketing content preparation. Key Responsibilities Travel to domestic tradeshows and industry events, actively engaging with buyers and prospects (5-8 times/year) Prepare, organize, and manage trade show supplies and materials for company events Support trade show booth setup, breakdown, and product displays Manage and track marketing inventory (samples, brochures, promotional materials, tradeshow supplies) Proactively follow up on company-generated leads via e-mail and phone Create, edit, and distribute the e-mail campaigns and product announcements to customers and internal teams Present new product launch presentations Participate in meetings with buyers and potential customers Visit existing and prospective customers as needed Continuously assess and refine current workflows for greater efficiency Assist with website and digital updates as needed Process customer orders and provide excellent customer service Office Administrative duties and tasks assigned Qualifications Familiar with CRM and prospecting leads No prior experience required — entry-level applicants are welcome Strong communication and presentation skills Comfortable engaging with retail buyers and decision-makers Highly organized and detail-oriented Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Must be able to travel and attend marketing events and trade shows Able to work in a startup environment with a proactive, hands-on approach What We Offer Opportunity for career growth in a growing food import and distribution company Exposure to product launches and national retail accounts Collaborative and dynamic team environment Opportunity to grow within a fast-growing company Travel reimbursements for trade shows and events Hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and product development Health, Dental, and 401K match
