Job Description

Lynol Cooling Systems | California / Virginia (Travel Required) About the Role Lynol Cooling Systems is seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Sales Representative with a strong focus on business development and market expansion within the automotive aftermarket industry. This role is centered on proactively developing new customers, expanding territory coverage, and driving revenue growth—while also managing and growing existing accounts. This is not a passive or order-taking position. This is a true B2B sales role where success depends on your ability to take initiative, consistently follow up, and convert opportunities into actual business. You will be expected to actively identify new prospects, build relationships from the ground up, and continuously expand your customer base within your assigned territory. At Lynol, we are building a structured, long-term sales platform supported by in-house manufacturing and U.S.-based distribution. With dual warehouse operations in California and Virginia, we provide flexible supply solutions including local distribution and direct container programs, giving you a strong foundation to compete and grow your business. This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, proactive, and motivated by growth and income potential. You will take ownership of your territory by developing new accounts, managing sales pipelines, following up on leads, and driving deals to close—while building long-term customer relationships along the way. We are looking for someone with strong execution skills, resilience, and the ability to operate independently in an environment without fully defined paths. The role requires consistent follow-up, a high level of accountability, and the ability to understand customer needs beyond pricing. B2B sales experience is required. Automotive aftermarket experience is a strong plus, but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities Proactively develop new business and expand territory coverage Identify, approach, and convert new customers within the assigned market Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities for expansion Follow up consistently on leads, quotes, and customer inquiries Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Maintain accurate sales records using CRM systems Coordinate with internal teams to support customer needs Travel within territory to visit customers and strengthen relationships Participate in trade shows and industry events as needed What We're Looking For Strong execution and follow-up skills with a results-driven mindset Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership Comfortable with business development and building relationships from scratch Ability to understand customer needs beyond pricing Able to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments Adaptable in a fast-paced and evolving sales environment Qualifications 1-2+ years of B2B sales experience (required) Automotive aftermarket experience is a plus, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Valid driver's license and willingness to travel Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required Compensation Base salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (depending on experience) Uncapped commission based on sales performance Performance-based bonus opportunities Benefits Health insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan with company match Cell phone allowance Company car or travel reimbursement Opportunity to grow into senior sales or account management roles within a structured and expanding organization Exposure to national accounts and industry events (truck shows, trade shows)
