Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Inside / Counter Sales Representative to support our HVAC parts and equipment sales operations. This role is responsible for assisting contractors, technicians, and walk-in customers with product selection, order entry, pricing, quotes, and general customer service. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a sense of urgency, and a working knowledge of HVAC parts, systems, and supply house operations. Key Responsibilities Assist customers at the sales counter, over the phone, and by email Provide product information, pricing, availability, and order status updates Process sales orders, quotes, returns, and special orders accurately Help customers identify HVAC parts, equipment, and replacement components Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, technicians, and account customers Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure timely order fulfillment Upsell related parts, accessories, and equipment when appropriate Resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner Maintain a clean, organized, and professional counter area Support inventory accuracy by helping with stocking, checking received items, and locating products Follow company procedures for cash handling, invoices, and account transactions Stay informed on HVAC products, manufacturers, and industry trends Qualifications Previous inside sales, counter sales, or customer service experience preferred HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or wholesale distribution experience strongly preferred Knowledge of HVAC parts, equipment, and terminology is a major plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills and ability to learn order entry / ERP systems Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable attendance and professional attitude Ability to lift up to [30-50] pounds as needed Preferred Experience Experience in an HVAC supply house, distributor, or contractor support role Familiarity with compressors, motors, capacitors, contactors, thermostats, controls, filters, and related HVAC components Experience preparing quotes and handling customer accounts Bilingual skills are a plus

Pay:

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
