Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary Morrill Industries is seeking a highly motivated Sales Associate I to join our growing manufacturing team. This position supports the company's sales efforts by developing and maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships, preparing job-related documentation, and promoting Morrill's full product catalog. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for manufacturing, sales strategy, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers and vendors. Present Morrill products, designs, and alternative options to clients. Review take-offs and instruct designer on drawings and specifications. Follow through with required specifications and documentation processes. Make independent decisions when applicable regarding layout and design. Communicate with production and shipping to review accuracy of projects. Gain expertise in all part numbers and associated catalog items. Learn applicable measuring systems and cost analysis tools. Maintain and develop competitive pricing structures. Prepare accurate and timely job quotes, job orders, and purchase orders. Support account services, including training and merchandising guidance. Execute sales strategies that drive growth and customer satisfaction. Demonstrate strong personal selling, time management, and public speaking skills. Ensure timely execution of department objectives and priorities. Maintain punctuality and satisfactory attendance.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate and 4+ years of sales experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills. Competency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to calculate and interpret figures including percentages, commissions, and basic geometry. Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Escalon, CA 95320 .

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Business Management. Experience in agricultural equipment sales or manufacturing environments. Strong presentation skills for one-on-one and group settings. Working knowledge of cost analysis and pricing strategies. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level .

Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay:

$23 - $30 (Based on Experience)
