401(k) 401(k) matching Company car Competitive salary Dental insurance Employee discounts Flexible schedule Health insurance Vision insurance Commercial HVAC/R Sales Representative — PM Contract Focus Ryan Refrigeration Heating and Air is hiring an experienced outside sales representative to build and grow our preventative maintenance (PM) contract business across California and Arizona. This role has a strong focus on commercial refrigeration clients — restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, and cold storage facilities. We're a growing commercial HVAC/R contractor looking for a self-starter who can hunt for new business, build lasting client relationships, and help us scale our recurring service revenue. If you know commercial refrigeration, love closing deals, and want uncapped earning potential, this is your role. What you'll do: Prospect and close new PM/service agreement contracts with commercial accounts Conduct on-site facility surveys to assess HVAC and refrigeration equipment and build custom proposals Target high-density refrigeration accounts: restaurant rows, shopping centers, grocery chains, food distribution, and cold storage Manage renewals and grow existing accounts through upselling and quarterly business reviews Maintain CRM records, weekly activity reports, and pipeline forecasting Coordinate with our dispatch and service teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new accounts Attend weekly operations meetings and ride along with technicians as needed What we're looking for: 3+ years of outside sales experience in a technical industry (HVAC, mechanical, building services, industrial), OR 4+ years as a commercial HVAC/R technician looking to move into sales Experience selling service agreements, maintenance contracts, or recurring commercial services strongly preferred Knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, display cases) is a major plus Comfortable with cold calling, door-to-door prospecting, and building a territory from the ground up Strong proposal writing and presentation skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Proficiency with CRM software and basic Microsoft Office What we offer: Base salary: $55,000
  • $60,000 depending on experience Uncapped commission: 8
  • 10% on new PM contracts, plus commission on repairs and equipment sales generated from your accounts $50 spiff on every new PM agreement signed Quarterly performance bonuses up to $5,000+ per quarter Year 1 on-target earnings: $97,000
  • $133,000 Company truck or $600/month vehicle allowance Medical and dental insurance after 90 days 401(k) with company match after 6 months 10 days PTO (15 days after year 2) Company phone and laptop Structured 6-month ramp-up with ride-alongs and training — no cold start
