Our team is looking for a compassionate, outgoing leader with strong communication skills to become our new Outside Sales Representative . The Outside Sales Representative helps grow the company by developing and maintaining strong client relationships and referral partner networks. This role focuses on identifying clients who are a good fit, setting clear expectations for their care, and communicating regularly and professionally with clients and their families. The Outside Sales Representative reports directly to the CEO of Complete Care at Home and will spend part of their time working from the Goleta office. At least half of their time will be spent in the field, visiting client homes, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, and hospitals throughout Santa Barbara County. The right candidate would have exceptional verbal and written communication skills and a natural ability to build and nurture relationships. They would be personable, emotionally intelligent, and thrive on connecting with new people. The candidate should possess strong sales instincts and be naturally driven to identify opportunities, close deals, and exceed targets. Proactive and resourceful, they tackle challenges with creative solutions. Strong active listening skills and a talent for networking are also essential to understanding client needs and delivering value.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Onboard "Right-Fit"Clients:
Proactively identify and form relationships with potential clients and referral sources who are a great match for Complete Care at Home's values and mission. Develop and maintain strong relationships with leads through home visits and consistent communication, offering solutions and building trust. Apply aConsultative & Strategic Sales Style:
Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment to determine the right service plan for each client, while ensuring profitability for the company. Build ourBrand:
Develop thriving relationships with referral partners and community organizations. Represent Complete Care at Home at community education events, senior expos, disease-awareness events, and other networking opportunities (such as mixers), serving as a professional liaison between the company and the community. Prioritize relationship building with key business contacts and community leaders.Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed electronic records in Salesforce for all client and referral partner interactions to ensure consistent follow-up.Performance Monitoring :
Track and report on key metrics, including marketing calls, self-generated prospects and more.Professional Presence:
Demonstrate charisma and confidence during presentations and negotiations to create a meaningful impact within a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.Pay Structure:
The pay structure for this role consists of an annual base salary of $60,000 plus the opportunity to earn additional income through commissions. Commissions are tied directly to sales performance and are calculated as a percentage of sales profit. A motivated salesperson has the potential to significantly increase their total earnings through this structure.Reimbursed Work Expenses :
We will reimburse necessary work-related expenses including but not limited to the use of the employee's personal vehicle for transportation, business travel expenses such as meals and lodging, and the use of the employee's personal cell phone for work. Requirements for thePosition:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent or three to five years' related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid CA driver's license A reliable vehicle for transportation during day-to-day sales activities, mileage will be reimbursed Strong computer skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to self-direct and keep track of multiple tasks at once Problem-solving skillsTravel:
