Job Description

Provider Relations & Business Development Representative Position Summary Health Media Network (HMN) is a healthcare Management Services Organization (MSO) that provides operational, administrative, marketing, and business support services to multiple physician practices, specialty medical groups, and ambulatory surgery centers throughout Southern California. We are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Provider Relations & Business Development Representative to support physician engagement, referral development, provider recruitment, and practice growth initiatives across our network. This individual will serve as a key liaison between physicians, referring providers, practice administrators, surgical centers, and corporate leadership. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys building professional relationships, and is passionate about supporting physician success and organizational growth. Primary Responsibilities Provider Relations & Practice Development Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, surgeons, advanced practice providers, and office staff throughout assigned territories. Serve as a primary point of contact between Health Media Network, affiliated medical groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician partners. Conduct regular in-person visits to physician offices, healthcare facilities, and referral sources. Educate providers and office staff regarding available services, treatment offerings, surgical center capabilities, and referral pathways. Support onboarding and ongoing engagement of physicians and providers within the HMN network. Identify opportunities to increase referrals, surgical case volume, and provider participation across affiliated practices and surgery centers. Communicate provider feedback, concerns, and opportunities for improvement to leadership. Assist with physician retention initiatives and relationship management programs. Maintain accurate records of provider interactions, referral activity, and outreach efforts within designated CRM systems. Referral Development & Community Outreach Establish and strengthen relationships with referring providers, healthcare organizations, and community partners. Coordinate physician presentations, lunch-and-learn events, networking opportunities, and educational programs. Support outreach efforts for specialty services including orthopedic, pain management, interventional radiology, physical therapy, and other service lines. Represent Health Media Network and affiliated practices at community events, conferences, and professional meetings. Physician Recruitment Support Assist with physician and advanced practice provider recruitment initiatives. Identify prospective candidates through networking, market research, and recruitment resources. Coordinate candidate outreach, screening, interviews, and site visits. Present practice opportunities and organizational information to prospective providers. Collaborate with leadership regarding provider workforce planning and recruitment strategies. Administrative Responsibilities Maintain current provider account profiles and outreach documentation. Track referral metrics, provider engagement activities, and business development initiatives. Prepare reports and updates for leadership meetings. Attend management meetings, committee meetings, and provider events as required. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare business development, provider relations, physician liaison, healthcare marketing, medical sales, or related client-facing experience. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational, communication, and time management abilities. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with physicians, executives, and healthcare professionals. Experience working within healthcare, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, hospitals, or healthcare service organizations preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Willingness to travel throughout Southern California. Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field. Requirements Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation. Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned territory. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday Occasional evening or weekend events, networking functions, or community outreach activities as needed.
Compensation:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus potential performance-based incentives and reimbursement for approved business-related travel and expenses.
