Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with prospective clients to uncover business requirements, position BC capabilities, and design right-fit solution approaches
- Lead ERP presales efforts including solution demonstrations, discovery sessions, scoping discussions, objection handling, and proposal development
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the presales lifecycle, guiding customers from initial conversations through contract execution
- Translate business needs into solution concepts using process flows, use cases, and high-level system designs
- Own presales activities end-to-end: demos, estimates, statements of work, proposals, and commercial negotiations
- Develop and manage a healthy pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and progressing new opportunities
- Advise clients on when to consider adjacent Microsoft solutions such as D365 Sales, Field Service, or Project Operations
- without necessarily owning those implementations
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of repeatable ERP service offerings and packaged solutions
- Build persuasive business cases and present recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership
- Assist in defining implementation roadmaps by assessing current-state vs. future-state processes within a cohesive solution architecture
- Maintain strong relationships with Microsoft sellers and technology partners to support joint opportunities
- Support marketing and demand-generation efforts such as webinars, industry events, and partner initiatives
- Stay current on BC enhancements, ISV solutions, and industry best practices through ongoing learning and partner engagement What We're Looking For We are prioritizing candidates who bring experience in one or more of the following:
- Manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or inventory experience within Business Central
- this is a strong differentiator given our current team composition
- Multi-system fluency, particularly across BC and D365 Customer Engagement (CE)
- the ability to articulate when Power Platform, Dataverse, D365 Sales, Field Service, or Project Operations should be part of the conversation
- Integration experience with BC, including ISV solutions and connections to complementary Microsoft technologies
- Enterprise architecture or leadership background
- someone who can zoom out and think holistically about a client's technology roadmap
- A balance of presales and delivery experience, as both remain high priorities for this role Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- 2+ years of experience selling professional services in a consulting or ERP environment
- Demonstrated success in direct sales roles including quota attainment, opportunity management, and customer engagement
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Microsoft Certified:
Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate- Experience working with ISV solutions and integrations within the BC ecosystem
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience (MBA in Finance is a plus)
- Ability to work remotely with periodic in-person collaboration
