Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or community engagement
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling and initiating conversations in person and online
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads and conversations across platforms
  • Experience in lead generation, sales pitching, and onboarding processes
  • Ability to gather and analyze market insights to improve sales strategies
  • Familiarity with community engagement through social platforms and local networkingPreferred Skills
  • Experience working with small business owners, hosts, or side hustlers
  • Familiarity with social platforms such as Facebook Groups, Reddit, and Nextdoor for sourcing leads
  • Curious, proactive, and adaptable mindset with a willingness to test new sourcing and closing strategiesRole OverviewThe Sales Operations Specialist serves as the frontline representative for a growing in-home services platform, focusing on expanding host partnerships in key Los Angeles neighborhoods.
This role is responsible for identifying and engaging potential hosts, delivering in-person sales pitches, and supporting the onboarding process. The position requires strong relationship-building skills, proactive outreach, and the ability to gather local market insights. Success in this role depends on converting leads into active service hosts while strengthening community presence.

Duties
  • Identify and connect with potential hosts through online research, cold calling, networking, and community engagement
  • Conduct persuasive in-person sales pitches to present service offerings and convert prospects into host submissions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the onboarding and setup of new hosts
  • Gather market insights from hosts and community interactions to refine sales strategies and service offerings
  • Build and maintain relationships within local communities to expand the host network
  • Manage multiple leads and track engagement across different outreach channels
