This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, processing sales orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, enjoys building customer relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail and responsiveness are critical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build and maintain positive customer relationships by responding to inquiries and providing product and service information Prepare sales quotations, proposals, and order documentation accurately and timely Process customer sales orders and maintain accurate records within company systems Coordinate with production, purchasing, inventory, and logistics teams to confirm product availability and delivery schedules Arrange and coordinate shipments with carriers and logistics providers Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices Monitor inventory levels and support inventory accuracy and material availability Resolve customer concerns, shipping issues, delivery delays, and order discrepancies professionally and promptly Maintain accurate sales, logistics, and customer records using company software systems Prepare reports and assist with tracking sales, logistics, and operational performance metrics Collaborate with internal departments to improve workflow, customer service, and operational efficiency Maintain regular and reliable attendance
Experience:
Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to analyze information and make sound business decisions Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered Experience in inside sales, customer service, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field Experience using CRM, ERP, logistics, or order management software systems
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods Frequent use of computers, telephones, and office equipment Occasional walking through warehouse and production areas Ability to occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds Work primarily performed in an office environment with occasional exposure to warehouse conditions Required use of PPE in designated production and warehouse areas, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
