Job Description

Sales Representative Modesto, CA Full-time Full-time Job Description We're looking for a driven and self-motivated Sales Representative to grow Papa's Herb's presence within a designated territory. This role combines relationship management with business development and is ideal for someone with a hunter mentality who enjoys opening new accounts, building strong partnerships, and delivering results. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable prospecting new opportunities, closing business, and developing long-term relationships with key decision-makers and store staff. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, buyers, managers, and store staff across the territory Prospect and open new retail accounts to expand Papa's Herb's market presence Drive territory growth by increasing distribution and achieving/exceeding sales targets Execute territory sales plans and promote product adoption Act as a brand ambassador by educating and training retail partners on products Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and account performance to identify opportunities Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and resolve issues effectively Maintain accurate sales records, account notes, and reporting metrics Process orders, manage logistics, and track shipments to ensure timely delivery Collaborate with marketing, product, and logistics teams on promotions and launches Qualifications 3-5 years of sales experience (cannabis, CPG, or beverage alcohol preferred) Proven success in prospecting, business development, and closing new accounts Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Customer-focused with relationship-building expertise Solutions-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve sales goals Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM experience is an asset Cannabis sales experience is a strong asset Existing retail relationships within the territory are highly preferred Self-starter with a proactive and results-driven attitude What We Offer Competitive base salary Uncapped commission potential Mileage reimbursement Opportunity to grow within a fast-growing brand Collaborative and innovative team environment How to Apply Please submit your resume to HR@papasherb.com .
