A well-established and respected equipment sales and service organization is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to join its growing team serving Ventura County . This is an outstanding opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded sales professional who enjoys being out in the field, meeting customers, identifying opportunities, and directly influencing their earning potential through sales success. This role offers a combination of office-based collaboration and extensive time in the field meeting with existing customers, prospective clients, and referral partners throughout Ventura County. A company vehicle is provided for business use within the assigned territory. About the Role The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships while driving revenue growth through the sale of parts, service solutions, preventative maintenance programs, repair services, and related equipment support solutions. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, self-motivation, persistence, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys prospecting, networking, creating new opportunities, and becoming a trusted resource for customers. What You'll Do Develop and manage an assigned sales territory throughout Ventura County. Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities. Conduct regular in-person visits with customers, prospects, and referral sources. Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, and territory development activities.
Promote and sell:
Equipment, Preventative Maintenance Programs, Parts and Service Solutions, Repair Services, Equipment Support Programs Identify opportunities to increase revenue with current customers and secure business from competitive providers. Maintain a consistent schedule of customer visits, follow-up activities, and account reviews. Serve as a trusted advisor by identifying customer needs and recommending effective solutions. Collaborate with internal service, parts, and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer support. Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity reports, and pipeline information. Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasts and territory updates. Attend sales meetings, training sessions, and occasional company events. Represent the organization professionally while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer service. Qualifications Required Minimum of 3 years of outside sales, territory management, business development, or account management experience. Proven track record of achieving sales goals and growing customer relationships. Strong prospecting and business development skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and manage a territory with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree. Experience in equipment, construction, industrial, manufacturing, agricultural, automotive, fleet, material handling, or service-related industries. Experience selling maintenance agreements, service contracts, parts, or technical solutions. Understanding of financing options and business operations. Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
