Job Description

Furniture Ease, Inc. Showroom Sales & Operations Manager Pomona, California | Full-Time W-2 | Base Salary + Commission + Bonus | Build from 0 to 1 Position Mission Build and establish a complete showroom sales and operations system from the ground up at the Pomona showroom. Achieve showroom break-even within 6 months, and within 12 months build and lead a 3-person sales team, positioning Furniture Ease as a recognized brand destination in the Southern California market. Key Objectives (First 12 Months) Focus Area,Responsibilities & Deliverables Sales Growth Establish a stable sales rhythm and progressively increase showroom revenue month by month, achieving a profitable operating model by Q4 Client Development Proactively develop B2B channels, including interior designers, contractors, and developers; maintain referral networks; generate leads through social media marketing Delivery Quality Maintain high customer satisfaction standards, ensure on-time delivery, resolve customer concerns efficiently, and build strong project case studies Operational Standards Establish a complete showroom SOP (Reception → Discovery → Proposal → Quotation → Order → Delivery → Follow-up); implement and standardize CRM system usage Team Building Recruit and train the first sales representative before Q3; establish a stable 2-person sales team before Q4 and develop scalable sales methodologies Bilingual Market Development Leverage bilingual Chinese-English capabilities to deeply engage the Chinese-speaking market and establish differentiated customer service capabilities Core Responsibilities Lead Generation Manage social media channels and online lead generation Maintain relationships with designers, contractors, and industry partners Participate in local building materials and design exhibitions Showroom Operations & Client Reception Oversee daily showroom operations and presentation Welcome clients and conduct needs assessments Deliver professional product presentations and consultations Proposal & Sales Process Coordinate with internal design teams to develop proposals Conduct pricing negotiations and contract confirmations Drive projects through the full sales cycle Project Delivery Track production progress and project schedules Coordinate logistics and installation Manage final payment collection Client Retention & Referrals Conduct customer follow-ups and after-sales support Develop project case studies and testimonials Execute referral and repeat-business programs Team Development & Management Recruit and train sales representatives Build product-knowledge training systems Establish CRM and reporting systems Ideal Candidate Profile Required Qualifications 3-5 years of sales experience in high-end custom cabinetry, millwork, interior finishes, or building materials showroom environments, with existing designer channel resources Proven frontline sales experience, including leading small teams (1-2 people), and a desire to transition from a "top salesperson" to a "sales leader" Fluent bilingual communication skills in both English and Chinese (business proficiency required) Experience building operations or sales systems from 0 to 1, including launching new showrooms, building sales processes, or developing new markets Highly self-motivated and capable of independently managing the full sales cycle Strong patience and methodology for long-cycle, high-ticket project sales Not a Fit For Candidates from purely fast-paced retail environments (e.g., IKEA-style retail) Passive "walk-in only" sales profiles Individuals who require heavy administrative support to perform effectively What We Offer Competitive base salary + performance commission + showroom performance bonus Direct involvement in international manufacturing and supply chain operations Entrepreneurial culture with fast career growth opportunities Opportunity to build and lead a team from the ground up with a clear pathway toward sales management leadership About Us Furniture Ease Inc. is a vertically integrated supplier of premium interior and architectural finishes, specializing in custom millwork and whole-home customization solutions for high-end residential and commercial projects across the United States.
