Overview We are looking for a responsible and motivated Sales Representative to join our appliance retail store. This position is mainly responsible for in-store sales, customer service, cash handling, and daily store operations. The ideal candidate should be friendly, trustworthy, organized, and able to work independently. You will help customers choose appliances, explain product details, process sales orders, handle payments, follow up with customers, and help maintain the daily operation of the store. This is a good opportunity for someone with retail sales experience who wants to grow with a fast-expanding appliance business. Duties Greet customers and provide friendly, professional in-store customer service. Help customers choose refrigerators, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers, and other home appliances. Explain product features, pricing, warranty options, financing options, delivery details, and basic product information. Promote products based on customer needs and help close sales. Create sales orders and make sure customer information, product details, and payment records are accurate. Handle cash, card payments, and customer transactions carefully and responsibly. Count and verify payments to avoid mistakes. Follow company procedures for cash handling, receipts, invoices, and sales records. Follow up with customers by phone, text, or email when needed. Help resolve customer questions or concerns in a professional and respectful way. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom. Assist with product display, price tags, basic inventory checks, and daily store organization. Help with opening and closing tasks when needed. Communicate with the manager or owner about customer issues, inventory needs, sales opportunities, and daily store matters. Take product photos or help update online listings when needed. Take responsibility for assigned daily tasks and complete them properly. Requirements Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred. Appliance, furniture, electronics, or home improvement sales experience is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be responsible, trustworthy, and able to handle cash properly. Strong attention to detail when processing payments, sales orders, and customer information. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Able to follow company procedures and take responsibility for daily store tasks. Basic computer, phone, and POS/cash register skills. Able to stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment. Comfortable speaking with customers, answering questions, and following up on sales opportunities. Must have a positive attitude and professional work ethic. Bilingual ability is a plus, but not required. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling appliances or home improvement products. Ability to build customer relationships and close sales. Comfortable making follow-up calls and handling customer questions. Basic knowledge of appliance measurements, delivery, installation, or warranty service is helpful. Experience handling cash or working with POS systems is preferred. Work Environment This is an in-store sales position in an appliance retail showroom. The role involves standing, walking, assisting customers, organizing products, maintaining the showroom, and supporting daily store operations. Compensation Pay will be based on experience and performance.
