Order Fulfillment Specialist

Description Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to support order fulfillment, customer service, and sales operations within a construction-related environment. This role is ideal for someone who can manage order processing, respond to customer inquiries, and provide administrative support to the sales team while maintaining accuracy and a high level of service. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process customer orders accurately and ensure timely fulfillment in coordination with internal teams and vendors. + Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding product availability, order status, pricing, and delivery updates. + Support sales operations by preparing quotes, entering orders, updating account information, and assisting with customer follow-up. + Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to help ensure orders are completed and delivered as expected. + Resolve customer concerns related to orders, shipments, and product issues in a professional and timely manner. + Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, order activity, and sales support documentation. + Assist with inventory-related communication, backorder tracking, and scheduling updates as needed. + Provide general administrative support to the customer service and sales teams.

Requirements Qualifications:

+ 2+ years of experience in customer service, order processing, inside sales support, or a related role, ideally within construction, building materials, manufacturing, or distribution. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. + Experience handling order entry, quotes, and fulfillment coordination. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working with ERP, CRM, or order management systems. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. + High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
