Summary Discover the beauty of San Diego, on the waterfront, in the heart of downtown at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. This iconic hotel features 1,628 guestrooms and 320,000 square feet of event space with stunning Pacific Ocean and city views. We are looking for the very best to join our AAA 4-Diamond Hotel, featured in the Top 10 of all Meeting Hotels in the United States per Cvent. The Sales Coordinator is an entry level position with a career path to the Sales arena. Candidates must be highly motivated and eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the Sales role, and progress to a Sales Manager. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn newputer programs, can multitask andplete projects in a timely manner and enjoyspetition. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Assisting Sales Managers with group sales leads, creating proposals, drafting Sales Agreements, entering bids into electronic RFP systems such as Cvent etc. Assisting with marketing tasks, client events, and solicitation projects. Coordinate and manage group room blocks, tracking pickup and assisting with reservation requests and changes. Maintain and update sales systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera) with client information, group history, and relevant documentation. Support the sales team with reporting, prospect research, and lead generation activities as needed. Ensure all documents andmunications meet brand standards and professional guidelines. Act as a liaison between clients and hotel departments to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction. The wage for this position is $26.52. This is the pay Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in hotel sales, event coordination, or administrative roles; hospitality experience required. Strong written and verbalmunication skills with a guest-first attitude. Excellentanizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Delphi, Opera, or similar CRM systems is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with professionalism and accuracy. A collaborative team player who is eager to learn and contribute to team success.
