This role is for someone who can sit with homeowners, inspect the need, explain the value, build trust, present financing options, and close deals professionally.
Main Responsibilities In-Home Presentations:
Meet homeowners in person across the Bay Area and present Kalihome programs professionally.
Relationship Building:
Build trust, understand homeowner needs, and explain project value and urgency.
Core Sales:
Sell foundation retrofit, crawlspace, structural, seismic, and related home improvement services.
Cross-Selling & Upselling:
Sell additional services such as roofing, insulation, HVAC, windows/doors, bathroom, kitchen, paint, and energy upgrades. Identify package deals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities where appropriate.
Financing:
Explain financing options, monthly payment possibilities, and next steps clearly. Coordinate with finance/admin teams for approvals, stipulations, and documents.
Pipeline Management:
Follow up with leads, estimates, pending customers, and financing approvals until closed or resolved. Keep appointment, pipeline, CRM, close-rate, and customer status information updated.
Requirements & Ideal Candidate Experience:
Proven home improvement sales experience is required. Foundation, seismic retrofit, crawlspace, structural, or exterior remodeling sales experience is strongly preferred.
Market Knowledge:
Must understand Bay Area homeowners and local market expectations. Already sold home improvement in the Bay Area and able to close higher-ticket jobs.
Sales Skills:
Strong closing ability and in-home presentation skills. Sells value, not just price. Comfortable discussing project scope, financing, payments, and urgency.
Traits:
Hungry, disciplined, performance-driven. Able to work independently, build trust quickly, and follow processes. Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
Logistics:
Reliable, organized, and able to follow up consistently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Tech/Admin:
CRM, financing platforms, or construction paperwork experience is a plus. Compensation & Culture Commission-based / performance-based compensation with high earning potential for experienced closers.
