Experience in automotive sales, CRM follow-up, lead handling, and appointment setting is required. The Internet Salesperson is responsible for responding quickly to online leads, setting appointments, following up with customers, and helping turn internet opportunities into showroom visits and vehicle sales. This position requires strong communication skills, consistent follow-up, and the ability to work every lead with urgency. Responsibilities Respond quickly to all internet leads, phone calls, emails, texts, and online inquiries. Set quality appointments and confirm customers before their visit. Follow up with new leads, long-term leads, missed appointments, unsold showroom visits, and previous customers. Use VinSolutions or other CRM tools to properly track calls, emails, texts, notes, appointments, and customer status. Work with sales managers to help customers move through the buying process. Accurately source customers and update customer information in the CRM. Maintain strong daily activity levels, including calls, emails, texts, and appointment follow-up. Provide excellent customer service and create a professional first impression for the dealership. Stay knowledgeable on current inventory, pricing, incentives, trade-in options, and financing programs.
