This position focuses on maintaining existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and working closely with our inside sales team to ensure excellent customer service and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is personable, self-driven, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Travel regularly to customer locations to maintain and strengthen business relationships Develop new customer accounts and identify opportunities for sales growth Meet or exceed established sales goals and company performance expectations Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts Collaborate closely with the inside sales team to ensure accurate quoting, order processing, and customer support Follow up on customer inquiries, pricing requests, and project opportunities Conduct product presentations and educate customers on available products and solutions Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities Attend industry events, job walks, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs Represent Response Fire Supply professionally at all times Qualifications Previous outside sales experience preferred, ideally in construction, industrial supply, or fire protection industries Strong communication and interpersonal skills Energetic, positive, and customer-focused attitude Ability to build long-term professional relationships Strong organizational and time management skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Comfortable working closely with a team environment Proficient with email, basic computer systems, and CRM/order entry platforms Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Skills Experience with B2B sales Knowledge of fire protection products or construction-related materials Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus commission opportunities Company vehicle allowance and/or mileage reimbursement Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for growth within the company
