We are currently seeking a motivated, customer-focused Outside Sales Associate to join our growing team. Position Overview As an Outside Sales Associate, you will work directly with customers through our Costco and Shop at Home programs, meeting clients in their homes to assess project needs, recommend flooring solutions, conduct measurements, prepare proposals, and close sales. This is a relationship-driven sales role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives in a goal-oriented environment, and is passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:

$66,500 annually + Commission Our commission program offers strong earning potential, with successful sales professionals having the opportunity to earn $100,000+ annually.

401(k) 401(k) Matching Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Responsibilities Meet with customers in their homes to understand project goals and flooring needs Conduct measurements and provide flooring recommendations Prepare estimates, proposals, and close sales opportunities Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales process Follow up with customers to answer questions and ensure satisfaction Coordinate with internal teams to support scheduling, installations, and project completion Process transactions and maintain customer records using QFloors and Costco systems Maintain knowledge of flooring products, pricing, promotions, and industry trends Generate and develop sales opportunities Assist with customer concerns, special orders, and related service matters Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED Valid Driver's License Minimum 2 years of sales, retail sales, in-home sales, or customer service experience Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

Preferred:

Flooring, home improvement, remodeling, construction, or related sales experience Experience with outside sales or in-home consultations Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities Basic computer proficiency Physical Requirements Frequent speaking, listening, customer interaction, and computer use Ability to drive and travel locally to customer appointments Occasional standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds Ability to perform measurements and presentations in customer homes The Floor Store is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
