Sales & Studio Coordinator

We're looking for a thoughtful, design-minded individual to join The Marin Merchant as a Sales & Studio Coordinator — someone who enjoys working with people and has a natural appreciation for beautiful, collected spaces. This role is primarily in-store and begins at 1-2 days per week , with opportunity to expand. Weekend availability is required. Responsibilities Welcome and engage with customers, offering a warm and elevated in-store experience Share the story behind pieces and assist clients in selecting items for their homes Support daily shop operations including sales, checkout, and order fulfillment Maintain the visual presentation of the shop (styling, merchandising, restocking, tidying) Assist with receiving and processing new inventory Support content capture and documentation of product and in-store moments Assist with event preparation and execution Help with light marketing and behind-the-scenes studio support Skills & Qualifications Strong interest in interiors, design, or home styling Excellent customer service skills and ability to connect with a range of clients Detail-oriented with a strong sense of organization Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently Interest in marketing, content, or events is a plus Must have a reliable car Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred
