Job Summary:
The Marketing Business Development supports the credit union's marketing needs and may provide administrative support and advanced clerical duties to the management team as directed by the Marketing Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Assists with developing and maintaining the marketing program designed to inform the membership, potential membership, and the public of credit union services and advantages of credit union membership. Responsible for planning and monitoring advertising using a variety of media sources including but not limited to print, radio/streaming platforms, social media, and television; ensure maximum utilization of the available credit union advertising programs to obtain the highest for the credit union. Maintain online social presence for the credit union including FB, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Report marketing campaign results to management, addressing any questions or concerns, and make recommendations. Responsible for compiling and analyzing credit union demographic data, preparing reports and making recommendations for consideration by management. Responsible for creating and coordinating monthly member messages for account statements, on hold messaging, and branch media (TVs). Conduct research to identify industry news, topics and competitive landscapes and support other marketing activities as needed. Responsible for coordinating materials used at community events and engaging with potential members including attending community events. Responsible for adhering to all established policies and procedures including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP), Member Due Diligence (MDD), HIPAA, ADA, and other federal/state compliance regulations. May require travel to branches, events, and other locations as necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Proficient interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-though. Knowledgeable with digital marketing techniques Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced environment with minimal supervision. Proficient in MS Office Product, Adobe, Photoshop or related software. Ability to travel to branches and events.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or working towards Marketing degree preferred. Minimum three years of experience in a related field.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May require standing and walking 25% of the time, lifting up to a maximum of 50 pounds, and other physical actions that include stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, pulling and pushing. May be required to work in an environment with high noise levels and unpredictable temperature and ventilation.
