Job description Job Description Inland Valley Truss, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Truss Sales position in our Northern California region. We are seeking a full-time skilled and motivated Truss Sales professional with a proven track record in cultivating business relationships with single, multifamily, commercial, and custom home builders. Over the past 30 years, Inland Valley Truss, Inc. has developed relationships with developers and contractors in the region and has built a reputation as one of the area's leading roof and floor truss manufacturers. You will have the support of a solid design, production and transportation team that is second to none, and it is your job to use these resources to leverage our advantage in a highly competitive market. The ideal candidate will be organized, ambitious, motivated, and currently living or able to relocate near our manufacturing plant in Stockton, California. Benefits Competitive base Bi-weekly salary plus commission Health and Dental Insurance after 90 days probation period 401K with company matching Paid Vacation Paid Holidays Mileage Reimbursement Company issued cell phones Expense allowance Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years' experience in truss or building material sales Knowledge of wood frame construction, roof/ floor truss systems Ability to read blueprints and do accurate and competitive estimates Effective interpersonal skills and communication skills Ability to organize, prioritize time and work efficiently Ability to anticipate problems and resolve them effectively Knowledge of current local codes associated with truss design (TPI) Ability to effectively communicate with trade partners both orally and in writing Must have own transportation, traveling is required Valid and clean Driver's License- meets company driver acceptability guidelines Only qualified candidates will be invited to interviews.
