Job Summary:

We are seeking a high-energy, driven Carrier Sales Representative to join our fast-paced logistics brokerage team. The primary role is to develop and maintain a robust network of truckload carriers, negotiating market-driven rates to ensure on-time delivery of customer shipments while maximizing profitability

Key Responsibilities:

Carrier Sourcing & Development:

Prospect, vet, and onboard new motor carriers to expand our network capacity.

Negotiation & Pricing:

Negotiate competitive rates with carriers based on market trends, lane history, and cost-effectiveness.

Capacity Planning:

Collaborate with Account Executives to match carrier capacity with customer freight requirements.

Load Execution & Tracking:

Dispatch loads, monitor, and track shipments from pickup to delivery, providing updates to stakeholders.

Relationship Management:

Build long-term, mutually rewarding relationships with carriers to secure consistent service.

Problem Solving:

Proactively identify and resolve issues, such as delays or equipment failures, to ensure service reliability

Requirements & Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in freight brokerage, dispatching, or carrier sales. Strong knowledge of truckload market, capacity, and rate negotiation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and high-octane environment. Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and load boards (DAT/ITS). High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)

Pay:

$24.00 - $28.00 per hour
