Job Description

The Opportunity Are you a veteran of the Public Safety or LMR industry with deep roots in Southern California? Mission Critical Information Systems (MCIS) is looking for an experienced Sales Professional who already knows the landscape and has the connections to open doors. We are one of the few dealers that carry the full "Big Four" lineup: Motorola, Kenwood, Harris, and Tait. We provide the hardware and infrastructure that first responders and agencies rely on. If you have the network, we have the premier portfolio to help you monetize your expertise.
The Role & Expectations:
Network-Driven Growth:
Leverage your existing relationships within police, fire, EMS, and municipal government to identify new account opportunities.
Consultative Hunting:
This is a "hunter" role focused on new business development. You'll be the face of MCIS, meeting with decision-makers to upgrade their mission-critical systems.
Local Focus:
Focused primarily on the LA and Orange County markets.
Introductory Period:
This role begins with a 90-day introductory phase . At the 3-month mark, we will review your progress, accounts opened, and milestones achieved to determine the long-term path forward.
Who You Are:
An Industry Veteran:
You have a background in Public Safety, Law Enforcement, or Land Mobile Radio (LMR) sales.
Connected:
You don't need a map or a phone book—you already know the key players in the SoCal agency and dealer verticals.
Self-Managed:
You're a professional who doesn't need micromanagement. You know how to manage a sales funnel and close a deal.
Pay:
$72,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
