NEED:
Outside Technical Sales Representative responsible for selling industrial equipment in an assigned geographic market. Excellent communication skills and mechanical aptitude that can be applied towards learning and subsequently explaining technical details to customers about our products are essential (PLEASE

DESCRIPTION
You will: likely be based somewhere in the front range area and covering a territory within Colorado and possibly Wyoming. be responsible for identifying leads, proactively prospecting and selling new, competitively-priced industrial equipment in the areas air moving and waste water equipment. meet with existing customers and prospects to recommend products and services to solve problems and promote our products and services. be supported by a local office staff and will be entering a very active territory with on-going business. be responsible for handling some order processing, product inquiries, quotations, and troubleshooting a variety of customer concerns. deliver sales presentations, follow up with key decision makers and provide status updates on open opportunities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
College degree preferred (but not required) or past technical selling knowledge. Experience in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs. Understanding that you will not always know all the answers but will quickly seek out an internal source to help with the application. Technical knowledge of air handling equipment and/or waste water systems would be very helpful but is not required. Prior success in sales of industrial engineered products sold to end users would be very helpful but is not required. Computer software (including Windows, Word, Excel, CRM's, and Order Entry) experience in an office environment.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY SET
High School diploma. Valid driver's license; reliable and presentable personal transportation. Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and maintain a high energy level brings success in this position. Ability to periodically travel by car to customer locations outside of Greater Denver Area may require hotel stays - likely 0-4 nights per month average. Professional presentation; is confident, assertive and displays a high level of self-esteem. Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to effectively communicate to all levels of management, both internally and externally. Strong active listening skills; gives full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions when appropriate, and letting others fully state their ideas. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and manage many jobs simultaneously and able to "cross-sell" different but related products. Grasps concepts and has good follow through skills; adheres to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise; maintains a positive outlook. Has an attention to detail and a problem solver. Excellent self-motivation skills; maintains a feeling of pride in work; has a strong work ethic and strives to achieve all goals; is competitive and has a strong desire to win; takes appropriate risks. Trustworthy and always maintains the highest level of confidentiality. High energy, friendly and engaging; has excellent conversational/persuasion skills.
COMPENSATION
Compensation dependent on experience and background. Flexible compensation (Draw vs. Commission or Salary) package arrangement open for discussion. Generous commission split. Selling expenses (auto/hotel/meals) paid against future commissions Training in-house as well as company paid training trips to manufacturers that we represent. Voluntary 401k plan with company match. Vacation/PTO commensurate with experience.
