Inside Sales Representative

Inside Sales Representative General Summary:

Established construction supply company seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative with a strong desire to grow within the organization. This role supports both retail and contractor customers and plays a key part in sales, order fulfillment, and product sourcing. The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and some Saturdays 8:00 AM to 12:00

PM Primary Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in person and over the phone Collaborate with outside sales representatives on quotes, product availability, and delivery options Coordinate with dispatch and shipping to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment Create invoices, packing slips, and other required documentation Pull and prepare orders from the warehouse for pickup or delivery Research and identify the correct products for customers using catalogs, stock numbers, vendor resources, and online tools Develop working knowledge of vendors and supply channels to determine where products are sourced and purchased Place special orders with vendors as needed to meet customer requirements and follow through on order status Sell and support a range of products including construction materials, livestock supplies, horse feed, and related agricultural items Maintain product knowledge across all inventory categories to effectively recommend solutions to customers

Requirements:

Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and/or agricultural/livestock products preferred Previous inside sales or customer service experience required Strong problem-solving skills and ability to research product information Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Strong communication and interpersonal skills High school diploma or equivalent required Bilingual skills are a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

We offer a competitive base salary plus commission, along with a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and retirement options.
