You'll manage an established account base and drive new business across independent garden centers, hardware stores, farm & feed, hydroponic shops, and seasonal retail — a product mix that spans every season of the year. This is a field-based role. You'll be on the road every week, calling on retail buyers, building shelf presence, and closing new accounts independently. What You'll Do Manage and grow outside sales across an assigned territory in Delaware and Maryland Prospect and open net-new independent retail accounts Sell seasonal promotions, product launches, and vendor programs Secure display placement and execute in-store promotional opportunities Provide weekly fill-in order support to maintain in-stock levels Report competitor activity and market intelligence to the team Represent Arett at trade shows: Open House, Pottery Showcase, Summer Marketplace, Good Tidings Holiday Showroom Requirements 5+ years outside field sales experience — wholesale distributor or manufacturer rep preferred Experience selling to independent retailers (garden, hardware, farm & feed, or specialty) Proven new business development and account growth track record Existing book of business and established retailer relationships preferred 2+ years wholesale distribution experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance required This Role Is Not a
