Job Description

New Castle DE, United States Chromatography Sales Specialist In this position you coordinate with our local account managers to support academic sales and leverage existing relationships to position BUCHI's chromatography equipment portfolio at key accounts. So you develop new relationships and grow sales entirely focused on chromatography equipment and consumables. You liaise with customer service, field service, and the corporate headquarters in Switzerland and report directly to the Chromatography Business Unit Manager of BUCHI Corporation.

You act as direct point of contact for all incoming leads in the territory, generate new leads and manage opportunities and enter all related activities into BUCHI's CRM system You implement marketing campaigns and give inputs for materials in coordination with the Head of Marketing, the Marketing & Communications Specialist, and the Product Managers at headquarters You train sales, service, customer support in various aspects of the chromatography product line You give pre-/post-sales support as well as technical and application advice. You execute seminars, webinars, applications papers, oral presentations, posters, and web trainings You are available for up to 30% overnight travel What skills do you need to bring? BS/BA in chemistry or related field with experience in preparative chromatography (flash, HPLC, SFC), ideally with a background in academic research or industry lab experience in organic chemistry and synthesis Background on the technical side of liquid chromatography, as well as a proven track record in capital equipment sales Strong organizational and time management skills, self-motivated and excelling under pressure Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills with a strong interest in interacting directly with customers Highly functional in MS Office suite and CRM experience What can we offer you?
