Job Description

Description:
We would like you to join our winning team of highly persuasive, outgoing, warm and friendly people. The right highly motivated candidate will have an eye for detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide primary customer contact and coordination for all truss and component orders. Act as liaison between the Company, Outside Sales, design team, and customers. Sales order entry, processing, and coordination of truss jobs. Coordinate sold jobs with customers, designers, production, and delivery. Analyze customer needs and provide accurate truss quotes. Maintain communication on order status, changes, and delivery schedules. Enter quotes into system, price jobs, and follow up with customers. Assist with inside sales support and bid coordination. Maintain customer files including quotes, layouts, and specifications. Ensure delivery dates are realistic and met. Follow through on all orders including revisions, engineering approvals, and shipping. Work closely with truss designers using MiTek or similar software. Coordinate with production to ensure efficient manufacturing flow. Assist in resolving field issues, missing parts, or damaged trusses. Maintain knowledge of lumber, plates, and truss manufacturing processes. Support management and outside sales in closing opportunities.
Requirements:
Truss-Specific Requirements:
Basic understanding of roof and floor truss systems. Ability to read and interpret truss placement plans and engineered drawings. Familiarity with MiTek software or similar truss design systems preferred. Knowledge of EWP (Engineered Wood Products) is a plus. Understanding of load paths, bearing points, and framing concepts. Ability to communicate design constraints to customers and field personnel. Experience coordinating with production and delivery schedules. Strong attention to detail to avoid costly design or order errors. Knowledge /
Skills:
Excellent organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player. Excellent phone and customer service skills. Energetic and proactive demeanor. Education /
Experience:
