Key Asks Insurance Experience Life, Health, Disability, or Property/Casualty (P&C) is fine Understanding of insurance compliance/regulations is a plus Experience selling into insurance-related businesses (agents, brokers, carriers, MGAs) SaaS or Enterprise Sales Experience If not SaaS, must have true Enterprise B2B experience (multi-stakeholder, long sales cycles) Full sales cycle from prospecting → demo → close → renew/expand. Ability to manage pipeline, forecast, close, and expand accounts Outbound / Hunter Mindset Comfortable cold emailing, cold calling, LinkedIn outreach Can create and nurture pipeline independently We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Software Sales/Account Specialist to drive business growth and expand our client base within the insurance industry. This role focuses on selling our insurance licensing and compliance SaaS platform to agents, agencies, carriers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and other insurance distribution models. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance compliance, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to engage with potential clients and close deals. Qualifications and Requirements 4+ years of B2B sales experience in the software technology and insurance industry, preferably in licensing, compliance, or related solutions. Experience selling SaaS products required or Enterprise Sales experience. And Full sales Cycle experience is a must Strong understanding of insurance licensing processes, compliance regulations, and industry organizations (NAIC, NIPR) is strongly preferred Proven ability to deliver effective product demos and sales presentations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset. Ability to travel occasionally for industry events and client meetings. Sales & Business Development Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the insurance sector. Generate and qualify leads through email outreach, cold calling, networking, and follow-ups. Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the value of the software; our licensing and compliance solution. Develop and maintain relationships with decision-makers at insurance agencies, carriers, and MGAs, and other insurance distribution models. Client Engagement & Account Management Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their licensing and compliance needs. Follow up with potential and past leads to convert them into customers. Provide ongoing support and guidance to existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention. Address inquiries, resolve concerns, and coordinate with internal teams for seamless service delivery. Industry Expertise & Market Awareness Stay informed about insurance licensing regulations and industry trends. Educate potential clients on compliance requirements and the benefits of the client. Attend industry trade shows and conferences to network and generate leads. Sales Strategy & Performance Tracking Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Track sales metrics, pipeline activity, and conversion rates using CRM tools. Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and improve lead-generation efforts.
